The medical device Electro Antiperspirant has been used at the dermatovenerology clinic to treat excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) of the palms, soles, and underarms since March 2012. Its efficacy was evaluated in a total of 8 patients (3 men and 5 women). In all patients, there was a significant reduction or even remission of symptoms. The effect was evident as early as after one to two weeks. Maintenance treatment took place mostly in the interval of once per two weeks, in two patients once per month, and in one patient the effects persisted for two months. All patients rated the treatment very positively. One patient purchased the device for home use at the end of the treatment.*
